As high school students, we found that most existing tutoring programs were either ineffective, overly expensive, or too time-consuming for the modern student. We thought that we could do it better - so we did. This led to the creation of Lumi Learning, which helps to eliminate all of the issues we found with current systems by providing free, online tutoring. We hope to reform the landscape of tutoring today and show that every student has a right to a high-quality education.
Science Support
From biology to physics and chemistry, our tutors are ready to help you with any science needs or concerns you may have. Science might seem daunting at first, but with the right conceptual grasp and applicational awareness, we will help you to feel like a true scientist by the end of the lesson. Do you work better when with your friends? Then a group lesson might be the right fit for you, which can accommodate up to five students on a weekly or semiweekly basis. Although we suggest creating group lessons with specific subjects in mind (i.e., a weekly math lesson), we are more than happy to accommodate them to fit with any educational needs that you may have.
